Reclamere at Girl Scouts STEM Program
We’re proud to share that our own Connie Mastovich and Rachael Lucas recently volunteered at a Girl Scout STEM event, sharing an activity regarding internet safety and talking to the girls about safe internet and social media habits. Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania (GHSPA) just sent us the following letter:
Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania (GSHPA) is pleased to announce its Girls Go STEM program was recognized as the winner in the Program category, at the Central Penn Business Journal’s 2018 Nonprofit Innovation Awards event held Thursday, April 12th at the Radisson Hotel Harrisburg.
Joining 14 other exemplary non-profit program finalists in the category, GSHPA’s Girls Go STEM program was selected as the top offering in the Program category by a panel of community leaders and non-profit executives. Finalists in the category were selected for having created and implemented programs or events locally to increase the effectiveness of their mission. In addition to earning the top Program category award, GSHPA will receive a monetary award to be used to support local programming.
Thank you for your dedicated leadership and service to Girl Scouting! This award is a recognition of the combined efforts of staff, board, volunteers, program partners and corporate partnerships. Your gifts of time, treasure and talent is the key to making our good work empowering girls possible!
