Reclamere Takes Leadership Role in NAID CSDS Program

Information Destruction Experts to Chair Industry Certification Program

TYRONE, PA (August 11, 2016) – Reclamere, the company that positions businesses to implement secure data processes in the workplace, and safely and securely dispose of their IT assets today announced that the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) has selected Reclamere President & Co-founder Joe Harford as chair of its Certified Secure Destruction Specialist (CSDS) Board of Regents. The committee is responsible for the ongoing development and promotion of the CSDS credential which is a new certification being sought by secure destruction professionals and IT Asset Disposal service providers.

NAID leadership and Harford believe this certification will go far towards elevating professionalism and confidence in the industry. “In today’s digital world, information destruction has evolved light years beyond paper shredding,” said Harford. “The stakes for guaranteed secure destruction of data are higher than ever, especially in tightly regulated sectors like healthcare and finance.
